Ballona Freshwater Marsh

Beautiful morning walk at Ballona.  The star of the show is the great egret. I also had a nice yellow rumped warbler, white crowned sparrows, goldfinches, bushtits, black phoebes, hummers, mourning doves, coots, and what I believe is a hermit thrush.
Followed by the smaller snowy egret.

But my favorite was the blue gray gnatcatcher. He moved fast and we watched him for a long time; photography was difficult.
Mainly Northern shoulder ducks, some mallards, some grebes.
 It's a flower, how should I know?

I believe these are cinnamon teals.
