Quinn the puppy goes birding

Quinn wanted her first birding experience so we headed to Playa del Rey to seek the Blue Footed you-know-what. Wouldn't that be nice! But no luck as you will see.
First up was a snowy egret and some Graylag geese. Even Quinn knew not to mess with them.

Every bird seemed to be flying toward the jetty so we headed over there. There was a huge crowd of pelicans, cormorants, gulls and ducks. Caspian terns and Elegant terns swooped so I couldn't take their photos.
 Yellowlegs or maybe a sandpiper?

Mammal, very chase-worthy for a puppy.
Willet above. Otherwise I've spent the summer enjoying the hummingbirds and black phoebes most of all.
